Devotional
Building a Simple Morning Devotion Rhythm
You don't need an hour and a perfect journal. Here's a gentle, realistic way to meet with God each morning.

Many of us carry quiet guilt about our devotional life. We picture someone rising at dawn with coffee, candles and hours of uninterrupted prayer — and feel we fall short. But God is not looking for perfection. He is looking for us.
My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
A rhythm in four small steps
- ✦Still — take one minute to breathe and invite the Holy Spirit in.
- ✦Read — a short passage, slowly. A psalm or a few verses from the Gospels is enough.
- ✦Reflect — ask: what does this show me about God? What is He asking of me?
- ✦Respond — pray honestly, and write down one sentence to carry into your day.
Start with ten minutes. Create a small space that invites you back — a corner with your Bible, a pen and a lamp. Consistency will grow your hunger far more than intensity ever could.
The goal is not to finish a reading plan. The goal is to know Him.
Grow with us — there's a seat for you.
